Q. Can I bring my own dog to the shows?
A. Sorry, but no. The only dogs allowed in the building are those entered in the Shows before November.

Q. Are strollers and cameras allowed?
A. Yes!

Q. Can I pet the dogs?
A. Ask first, but most owners and groomers will be happy to let you pet the dogs in the benching area, and will gladly talk with you about the breed and its unique characteristics.

Q. How much are tickets?
A. $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12.

Q. Can I buy tickets at the door?
A. Yes, the line moves quickly at our box office. You can also order through Ticketmaster.

Q. When should I come to the Shows?
A. Breed judging begins about 8 AM each day.  To make sure you catch the breeds you want to see, check the judging schedules posted on our main page about a week before the Shows.  High energy dogs and trainers present demonstration events several times each day from mid-morning to early afternoon.  Group judging begins around 1 PM daily, with Best in Show to be decided about 5 PM.

Q. Can I leave and come back on the same day?
A. Yes, you’ll get your hand stamped allowing you to come and go on Saturday or Sunday (not both).

Q. When can I see the TV broadcast of the Dog Shows?
A. The KCP’s Saturday dog show hosts The National Dog Show Presented by Purina, which will be broadcast nationally on NBC-TV on Thanksgiving Day at noon, immediately following the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
